Privacy policy

What this website collects, why, who else handles it, and how to ask us to delete it. Last updated October 17, 2026.

Who we are

This policy covers justgreentechnology.com and its pages, including JustGreen Digital (/digital/), the shop, the Forecast Desk (/desk) and the Live Dashboard (/home). The site is run by JustGreen Technology LLC, a company in South Dakota, USA. The site is meant for people in the United States, and the information described here is processed in the United States. Questions or requests: justgreentechnology1@gmail.com.

The short version

  • We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used.
  • When you buy something, Stripe takes the payment. We never see your full card number.
  • We use your email address to send what you bought and to answer you.
  • We don’t sell or rent your personal information.

Analytics (Google Analytics)

The site’s main pages (the company pages, JustGreen Digital, the shop, the Forecast Desk, the Live Dashboard and the sign-in page) load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-73P34H26BX). It sets cookies in your browser, usually named _ga and _ga_<ID>, and sends Google information about your visit: the pages you view, the page that sent you here, your browser and device type, your approximate location (worked out from your IP address) and an identifier stored in those cookies. We use the reports to see which pages are useful. Google handles this data under its own terms; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Google keeps this data for the period set in our Analytics account.

To stop it, block cookies for this site in your browser, use a content blocker, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same without analytics. The site does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control browser signals; you can still block analytics using the options above.

Buying from the shop (Stripe)

When you click Buy, we send Stripe the product and the email address you typed, and Stripe opens its own checkout page. You enter your card details on Stripe’s page, not ours, so we never receive or store your full card number. Stripe tells us when a payment is complete. Stripe handles payment data under its privacy policy.

We keep a record each time someone starts a checkout, even if they never finish paying: the email address typed, the product, Stripe’s reference for the checkout and the time. When a payment completes, we also record whether the email with your file was sent. Once a day the site compares these records with Stripe’s list of completed payments to catch any order that was paid but not delivered. We use these records to deliver the file, handle refunds and keep business records.

Emails we send

After a purchase we email the file to the address you gave, using a third-party email delivery service. Replies, and any email you send us, go to our Gmail inbox at justgreentechnology1@gmail.com, which Google hosts. We don’t add you to a mailing list.

JustGreen Digital sometimes emails local US businesses about websites. We find these businesses and their public contact email addresses in public business listings (such as OpenStreetMap) and on the businesses’ own websites, and we keep a record of who we emailed, when, and whether they replied. Each of these emails has an unsubscribe link. When it is used, we store a scrambled (hashed) copy of that link’s code so we don’t email that address again. To be removed from our records entirely, email justgreentechnology1@gmail.com.

The contact form

The contact forms on the Live Dashboard and on the JustGreen Digital page ask for your name, email address, a topic and your message. When you send it, the site passes those details to a private Telegram chat that we read, using Telegram’s service (Telegram’s privacy policy). The website itself does not keep a copy; Telegram stores the message on its servers as part of its service. To limit how many messages one address can send in a minute, the site keeps your IP address in its working memory (see “IP addresses” below).

Member accounts, if you create one

Some Forecast Desk features may need a member account. If you create one, we store your email address, a username, your password (only as a scrambled hash, never as plain text), a phone number if you choose to add one (we only store it; the site does not send text messages), whether your email address is confirmed, when the account was created, Stripe’s reference numbers for your customer record and subscription, and whether your subscription is active. We email you a link to confirm your address. Subscriptions are paid through Stripe in the same way as shop purchases. If you redeem an access code, we record the time and the IP address it was used from, with your account. Signing in sets a cookie named jgt_session that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days.

Other cookies and storage

  • Your light or dark theme choice and some display settings are saved in your own browser (local storage). They are not sent to us.
  • Password-protected sample sites that JustGreen Digital shows to a business set a cookie named jgpv_ plus a short code, so the business doesn’t have to type the password again. It lasts about 30 days.
  • The site owner’s admin page sets a sign-in cookie named jgt_admin. It is set only for the owner.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Render and served through Cloudflare. Like any web host, they process your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, and they may keep their own request logs under their own policies.

IP addresses

Our own app does not write a log of page visits. It does use IP addresses in these ways:

  • Rate limits. To stop one address from flooding the site or guessing passwords, the app keeps in its working memory the IP address of any visitor whose browser loads the site’s live data (the Forecast Desk and Live Dashboard pages do this automatically), or who uses the contact form, checkout, member sign-up, sign-in or account pages, the email-confirmation link, the password form on a sample site, the admin sign-in, or an unsubscribe link, with a count or times of recent requests. This is not written to a file. It stays until the server restarts, or until the app clears old entries when it is tracking a very large number of addresses.
  • Admin sign-in log. Every attempt to sign in at the site’s admin page, by anyone, is written to a log file on our server with the IP address, the first two characters of the email address typed, the time and whether it worked. Older entries are deleted as the file fills up (it keeps roughly the most recent few megabytes).
  • Owner changes. When the site owner changes the home-page story or the site’s settings, the IP address the change came from is written to the server’s log, which Render keeps under its own policy.
  • Access codes. As described above, a redeemed access code is recorded with the time and IP address, with the member account.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we use to run the site (the ones described on this page); when the law requires it; to protect the site, our customers or ourselves from fraud or abuse; or as part of a sale or transfer of the business, in which case this policy would still apply to information collected under it.

Keeping it safe

Pages are served over HTTPS, passwords are stored only as hashes, and card details never reach our servers. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise that information will never be exposed. If we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will tell you as the law requires.

How long we keep it

  • Order records: as long as we need them for refunds, accounting and tax records.
  • Contact messages: in our Telegram chat until we delete them.
  • Member accounts, including any access-code redemption record: until you ask us to close the account.
  • Unsubscribe records: kept, so we keep honoring your request.
  • Records of businesses JustGreen Digital has emailed: until you ask us to remove them.
  • IP addresses used for rate limits: in the app’s working memory until the server restarts or the entry is cleared.
  • Admin sign-in log: until newer entries replace it as the file fills up.
  • Analytics: for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account.

Your choices and requests

Email justgreentechnology1@gmail.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Please write from the email address you used with us so we can find your records. We will delete or anonymize what we can. We may need to keep a basic order record where the law or our accounting requires it, and we will tell you if that applies. We aim to reply within 30 days. Analytics data is tied to a browser cookie, not to your name or email, so we usually can’t find or delete it for you; clearing your cookies starts a new, unlinked identifier.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
